Following the findings of the energy audit, it was necessary to improve the thermal insulation parameters of the roof and therefore the skylights. Existing lantern skylights measuring 6.2 x 97.0 m (1 pcs) and 6.2 x 85.0 m (3 pcs) made up of steel construction, side glazing made of wire with ventilation flaps and roofing made of TR sheet, have been dismantled and replaced with saddle skylights with a slope of 45°/ 45°, with ventilation flaps. The supporting structure of the skylights is made of aluminium, as the filling is used polycarbonate in opal discoloration and the ventilation flaps are equipped with pneumatic motors.

The entire daily ventilation system is connected to the existing compressed air distribution and the control automatic, which closes the valves in case of severe weather. The implementation took place during the autumn/winter period - it was necessary to secure the space under the skylights according to the principles of OSH; and the space above the skylights so that there would be no rain/snow fall into the interior of the production hall.
